01 / THE PROBLEM
A bank balance only
tells part of the story.
A healthy closing balance can hide irregular income, significant commitments, or a recent one-off deposit. A low balance can overlook consistent cash flow and reliable financial habits.
HeliumID brings the evidence together, helping your team understand where funds come from, how money moves, and what needs a closer look.
02 / HOW IT WORKS
From financial documents
to informed decisions.
- 01
Create an assessment request
Choose the purpose, required documents, and information your organisation needs to receive.
- 02
Let the applicant submit securely
Individuals and businesses provide their documents directly to HeliumID, with a clear explanation of how their information will be used and shared.
- 03
Receive an explainable assessment
Review financial trends, key findings, supporting evidence, and issues requiring clarification in one structured report.
- 04
Make your decision with context
Use the assessment to guide your review. Request clarification where needed and keep your team in control of the final decision.
03 / ANALYSIS
Understand the activity
behind the numbers.
Income and cash flow
Distinguish recurring income from exceptional receipts, borrowing, and transfers between submitted accounts. Understand how inflows and outflows change over time.
Commitments and repayment capacity
Assess observed expenses, known obligations, and the funds remaining to support a proposed commitment.
Liquidity and resilience
See balance trends, cash buffers, income volatility, and dependence on a small number of income sources.
Business financial activity
Explore operating receipts, recurring costs, customer concentration, seasonality, and owner transfers.
Assets and supporting evidence
Bring relevant asset records, investment statements, and other financial documents into the review. Clearly distinguish declared information from independently verified findings.
Unusual activity and inconsistencies
Identify patterns that need explanation, including unexpected deposits, possible circular transfers, missing information, and conflicting records.
Findings reflect the evidence available. Unusual activity is a prompt for review, not proof of wrongdoing.

- 06
Explainable findings
The evidence and assumptions behind material conclusions.
05 / PRIVACY
Report Only Privacy
Get the insight.
Limit the disclosure.
Financial assessment should not require every reviewer to hold a copy of someone’s bank statements.
With Report Only Privacy, applicants submit their documents directly to HeliumID. Your organisation receives the approved assessment without access to the uploaded documents or raw transaction history.
Applicants see what will be shared before they submit—helping them participate with greater clarity and confidence.
- 01
For your organisation
Receive the financial findings needed for your review while reducing the sensitive documents your team handles.
- 02
For your applicants
Understand who is requesting the assessment, why the information is needed, and what the organisation will receive.
HeliumID processes the underlying documents to produce the assessment. The report still contains financial information, and some assessment purposes may require additional evidence disclosure.
06 / USE CASES
Financial insight for
the decision in front of you.
Credit assessments
Understand observed cash flow, known commitments, and potential repayment capacity in the context of a proposed facility.
Proof of funds
Assess whether the evidence shows accessible funds for a defined expense, with context on funding sources and existing commitments.
Business financial reviews
Evaluate financial activity, consistency, concentration, and gaps in supporting evidence before extending commercial commitments.
Financial due diligence
Bring statements and supporting records into a structured review, with clear distinctions between documented claims and verified information.
07 / VERIFICATION
Know what has
been checked.
Where available and authorised, assessments can be supported by checks with credit bureaus, financial data providers, and relevant issuing institutions.
Each result carries a clear status, so your team can distinguish verified findings from applicant declarations, pending checks, and unavailable information.
Verified
Confirmed through an authorised check with a credit bureau, financial data provider, or issuing institution.
Declared
Provided by the applicant and not independently confirmed.
Pending
A check has been requested and the result is not yet available.
Unavailable
The information could not be checked within the assessment scope.
Verification depends on the assessment scope, applicant permissions, institutional access, and supported services.
08 / TRUST AND CONTROL
Clear evidence.
Accountable review.
Traceable findings
Understand which records support a conclusion and where uncertainty remains.
Visible limitations
See missing periods, incomplete evidence, and assumptions that affect the assessment.
Room for clarification
Give applicants a way to explain unusual activity and challenge inaccurate information.
Human judgement
Support your team’s decision with structured analysis and a clear review process.
09 / FAQ
Frequently asked
questions.
01Is Financial Insight a credit bureau?
Financial Insight analyses submitted financial evidence. Where available and authorised, credit bureau checks can add context to an assessment. The service complements bureau information.
02Can it assess both individuals and businesses?
Yes. Individual and business assessments use criteria suited to their financial circumstances and the purpose of the review.
03Does every assessment include a score?
A score is provided where the assessment supports it and sufficient evidence is available. Where evidence is incomplete, the report explains the gaps rather than presenting an unsupported score.
04Can we receive a report without seeing the applicant’s documents?
Yes. With Report Only Privacy, your organisation receives the approved assessment without access to uploaded documents or raw transaction records through the request.
05Does HeliumID verify every document?
The report identifies the scope and status of verification. Reviewing a document for consistency is different from confirming it with the issuing institution.
06Does a flagged transaction mean fraud?
No. A flag identifies something that may need clarification. There may be a reasonable explanation, which should be considered during review.
07Can a report replace documents required by a lender or visa authority?
Acceptance depends on the receiving organisation’s requirements. Some organisations and authorities will still require original supporting documents.
08Does HeliumID make the final decision?
Your organisation remains responsible for its decision. HeliumID provides analysis, evidence, and findings to support that review.
